The feature will be featured in Weed World magazine print or online. The Journalist must address topics related to global cultivation, legislation, laboratories, manufacturing/processing, dispensaries and retail, extracts and concentrates, and sustainability. We welcome submissions of features and columns. Please review the Guidelines for Submission below and consult with the Editor before working on an article.

All articles will undergo copy editing and fact-checking to ensure quality and relevance. Authors will have the opportunity to review and approve or alter the edited draft before publication. On average, the review process can take two to three weeks, with publication potentially taking up to a month.

**Guidelines for Submission**

Articles should be submitted as Word documents via email to the Editor.
All submissions must be original pieces. We do not accept articles that have been previously published or are under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Topics should fall under the categories of business analysis, market access, operations, research and development product development, and quality and regulatory standards.
Features should provide educational or technical information.
Columns are typically more opinion-based but must contain factual information and avoid offensive statements.
**General Word Count Guidelines:**

– 1200–2000 words for features.

**Each article should include:**

– An appropriate title

– A 2-3 sentence introduction/executive summary

– References

– An author bio, including first and last name, job title, company name, and email contact information. Company names and email addresses are not sufficient as author names.

– Suitable images, illustrations, figures, and tables with captions. These must be numbered and referenced within the article.

– Figures and illustrations must be submitted as separate files and not included in the body of the text. Preferred formats for images are PNG, JPG, TIFF, and EPS, with a minimum resolution of 72 dpi. Number figures in the order they are referenced in the article.

It is the author’s responsibility to obtain permission to use any images or graphics. Do not use artwork from other websites without permission. Hard copies of artwork will not be accepted.

**References:**

References should be numbered in the order they are cited in the article and indicated by superscript numerals in the text. They should be complete and follow AP style; do not simply provide links to articles. Numbers should organize bibliographies or suggested readings.
