I’m pretty sure everyone would be happy to grow this strain!
Mk-Ultra is an awesome strain because of many aspects, the first of all is absolutely the resin quality. It has strong diesel notes, less or more accentuated depending on the phenotype grown. Along the main fragrance there are other hues, that joined together remind of a good and strong hashish when smoked.
The main diesel fragrance is really persistent in the air and, most importantly, it remains when smoked. Most probably the essential oil contained in the resin is composed of many ‘’heavy’’ and less volatile compounds than other strains. It’s not easy to find such a quality and persistent bouquet in weed. This is the main aspect that I love about this strain. I would and will grow it again and again just for its resin.
Under the effect side, it seems to be a high THC strain: strong, couch-locked with a great stone that lasts but not too much. Not a light smoke indeed.
On the growing side, this strain has a medium/long flowering time. Phenos tested needed 70 days for a proper ripening.
I found phenos differed mainly for the flower shape and resin, I think the best ones are those with a huge coverage of resin, a little lower yielders than those with less resin but with bigger flowers. Those phenos are the most intense smoking of all the batch tested.
Growth vigor is high, in some individuals the vigor is really high, having a real necessity to increase fertilizer dosages and/or space for root system, compared to other strains in the same tent.
It is not a ‘’tired’’ strain but a really healthy one.
Stretching varies and corresponds to a balanced hybrid with some sativa in it. It has not a crazy stretch but the inter-nodal distance is around the average. It can take 15 days to start flowering depending on ambient and plant conditions, perfectly on the average of a good hybrid.
Some words to define this strain: Diesel notes, high THC, 70 days bloom, average stretching, high vigor. I’m pretty sure everyone would be happy to grow this strain!
