The calyx to leaf ration is ideal, easily resulting in more than 80-90g of dry, trimmed bud without too much effort.
Our new auto strain represents our highest level of progress so far in the autoflowering development. This latest generation variety flowers more abundantly and produces a better-branched plant than either of its parents (Northern Light AUTO and Blueberry AUTO). Both of these were developed by the Delicious Seeds team of breeders by crossing a pure Ruderalis with our own well-loved Northern Light and with a clone of the famous Original Blueberry that was developed by DJ Short during the 70s and 80s. From the moment we introduced the auto gene to our Northern Light and Blueberry until we finally completed the breeding process by crossing the resulting strains, more than two years had elapsed that we’re spent in careful observation, selection and hybridisation and which culminated in this new strain of which we’re very proud.
The growth stage of this autoflowering strain is a few days longer than most, at around 20-25 days after germination. It then rapidly enters flowering mode and will continue to gain height for a couple more weeks even as flower production begins. A well-developed root system is key to successful flowering.
In a pot no bigger than 11 litres and under proper growing conditions, a very well branched plant of up to 150cm should be achievable. The calyx to leaf ration is ideal, easily resulting in more than 80-90g of dry, trimmed bud without too much effort.
If grown indoors, care should be taken to limit vegetative growth. For this reason, we recommend 7 litre pots to produce 70-100cm tall plants that will make better use of the available light through being shorter and more compact. If you’re going to use a 600W sodium lamp for flowering, it would be better to us a 400W (or a minimum 200W CFL low energy lamp) to start with, switching up to 600W once buds begin to appear in order to limit the excessively long internodal distances that can result from overexposure to sodium light. It produces an impressive quantity of resin and smells a bit like very sweet forest fruits while its taste will linger on your palate for quite a long time after smoking.
With its fruity Blueberry taste with bittersweet Northern Light notes you can now enjoy a strain that compares very favourably with non-automatic hybrids, in record time!
