Funny Old World, Eric’s Mocha Shocker
Bringing the World of Weed together at any time is no easy thing to do, as we never know weather we will all arrive, get shut down or get our arses seriously busted! It’s a challenge to organize and one that Phil and his Weed World team have taken on although one unmentioned did do a flight a week before the event, due to a serious attack of paranoia…
The Expo brings together traders from East to West from big to small. Despite a year that saw some shops being busted and the imprisonment of some well known owners and growers not to mention the poor old dealers. All of these weed customers in one place it is extremely exciting in its self let alone set in the dense concrete jungle of Brick Lane, London. I think we all know that this could always be the last time.
When we arrive the stands are going up rapidly the gorgeous security guys are already about and staff are arriving many of us old friends as we catch up will all life’s stories. The doors soon open and the building comes alive we see many more old and new customers and friends and it is at this point I have to remind my self that this is a trade show not a fantastic party full of lovely people, I just want to let my hair down jump the counter and turn up those tunes with some ATTITUDE…
The show was a little smaller; although most trades have suffered some loses recently in the crunch. So it was good to see so many seed and hemp sellers still prepared to show their honest faces from behind the web site shops, what a great meeting of minds as we all indulged and enjoyed the freedom of communication which is what WEED WORLD has given us for quite some time.
What WW has a achieved really is quite incredible against all the odds even with the heavens opening to great extremes on the day, it did not put off people from coming to be part of this unique event that gives an insight in to this intriguing trade.
Big Love to all the people that think I live in luxury hotels like Ed and dearest Howard Marks, who sadly was not to well enough to be with us in person this year, we all hope he is now well recovered and send our best wishes. Howard has been such a great lover of stories and cannabis gatherings he was greatly missed by everyone.
As were some of the guys whose stock was stolen on route from Holland and as was a lorry full of the Canadian magazines kindly held for three days by our customs!
As for those of us caught smoking I hope you are all SORRY as you risked such a great few days even though I know some of you just can not help yourselves from being naughty.
Talking of naughty fancy that Sonia Skunk up to no good in the hotel showers and she wasn’t watering her plants let me tell you. But I best do a recipe before Ed notices from his hammock on the beach that I am gossiping and not getting us all baked!
Method
Very easy to make with just a neat espresso shot of fresh ground coffee.
Then finely grind 1g of good weed buds. (Or use the dust from your grinder)
Make up 75ml (a quarter of a pint) hot fresh coffee. And the same amount of hot chocolate with full fat milk.
Pour the chocolate evenly into two cups. Stir into each, half a teaspoon of fine brown sugar and half each of the ground bud.
Now pour in the coffee and finish of with a swirl of whipped cream and a dusting of chocolate.
Coffee anyone?
