They raced to the house, grabbed Dave and, against his pleas to be careful with him,
twisted his hand behind his back as he screamed in pain.
Dave had a row of stitches down his chest from yet another operation for his heart problems. The police carried on with their rough treatment until finally the screams from his family were taken note of. “His heart, his heart!”, they cried. The police finally ceased and placed him on a seat. His doctor said that it’ll take some time for his chest to knit back as the bones had been stressed so much by the rough treatment by the police. But anyway, back to the bust… They knew exactly where to go and what they were getting, and all for only seven plants! After seizing the plants, the police then gathered up everything and anything possibly used for gardening (even old stuff that had been put in storage) to make it look like a huge bust in their photographs. They then proceeded to smash it all to pieces with a sledge hammer found on the property. Law reform is a long way off unless our big brother England changes theirs.
On a better note: For the New Zealand grow season this year, I used mainly seeds from Barney’s Farm. What can I say? All strains could easily have grown over 3 meters tall, but it was a dry start to the season and we were plagued with bugs.
Some strains I grew were: Sweet Tooth, Vanilla Kush, Amnesia Lemon, LSD, and Pineapple Chunk. Sweet Tooth grew 3 meters with a 17oz yield. The smoke was very tasty and all who tried Sweet Tooth LOVED it.
Vanilla Kush had one plant over 8 feet, but unfortunately the bugs ruined the best of it, but same result… VERY tasty.
Amnesia lemon took off like a rocket, but same thing happened with the bugs so I can only say that this strain can grow large. I really wanted this strain, as I have heard the hash made from this medicine is some of the best. Better luck next season I hope!
With LSD, I was expecting more because of what I had read about it. Don’t get me wrong though, this plant can yield a solid pound of top smoke – this girl will grow over 3 meters with ease.
Pineapple Chunk can grow huge, which you need because the harvest you get off it is a little light. This was the best medicine by far though! Excellent for pain relief so I’m sure we are going to see a lot more medicinal cannabis seed sellers providing this strain. It has a definite pineapple smell when you break a bud open, with a very relaxing high. Smoked in large amounts, it has the ability to knock down the hardest of smokers. The only problem with the seed that I received was that I would only consider about 50% of them to be good seeds. Some that I sowed were very small compared with others and these small mutant seeds made mutant plants with really low yields. This is my only complaint, but I still got a really good deal as the total harvest from all of the plants made up for it! Bush medicine man gives the big thumbs up to Barney’s farm.
Want to try some way above average medicine? Try some Pineapple Chunk and let the pain slip away! I can’t wait for the regular Pineapple Chunk seed to come out.
The other strains I used were from Sweet Seeds. Big devil had an amazing growth rate: grew 4 feet high and yielded 120gm. The plant looked well-formed with very large buds. One problem I had was that some of the plants tended to turn ‘fluffy’. The other problem was that when dried and cured, the cannabis was hard to burn and the stone was very average. I can see this plant yielding 8oz if grown under lights.
Deimos from Buddha Seeds is a good one. All plants yielded 2oz of nice, tight, solid orange bud. This bud likes to be cured for at least two months to bring out the best flavors. For a ruderalis, this one is worth the grow and has a pleasant mellow smoke. Plant on a new moon and she’ll be ready in 10 weeks (pull on second full moon).
Finally, I tried Medicine Man from Mr. Nice. This is still my all-time favorite medicinal plant! If you have not tried this strain, I can truly say you are missing out: great flavor, pain relief, moodlifting… this is the bomb! Medicine Man aka White Rhino is a true Kiwi favorite that has been around many years.
Grow Tip: I recommend, when growing outdoors, plant by the moon. I swear that, depending on latitude, it can make a major difference to yield. Plant your seeds on new moon, watch your bud and you will see that a week before the next new moon, they will start to swell and you can literally see them expanding every day leading up to the full moon. Bye for now, and I hope you all have a good season soon in the northern hemisphere!
